Assessment Process
The assessment for the Level 1 course is typically a multiple-choice exam taken after completing the training.

Format: The exam usually consists of multiple-choice questions (the number can vary depending on the provider and specific awarding body).

Pass Mark: Candidates typically need to achieve a score of 70% or more on each module or the overall exam to pass.

Delivery: The assessment can be taken online with an invigilator (requiring a computer with a webcam, microphone, and a stable internet connection) or at a physical test centre.

Certification: Upon successful completion, candidates receive an accredited Level 1 certificate, which is a required document for applying for the CSCS Green Labourer Card.
Note: Passing this course is only the first step. You must also pass the separate CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test for Operatives within the last two years to be eligible to apply for the actual CSCS Green Card.
